Suspension of Routine Visa Services

On Thursday, March 19, the U.S. Embassy in Seoul, Korea has suspended routine immigrant and nonimmigrant visa appointments.
If you have a visa interview appointment scheduled on or after March 19, your visa appointment has been cancelled. Do not come to your previously scheduled appointment. We will resume routine visa services as soon as possible but we are unable to provide a specific date at this time. If you have previously attended a visa interview, but your case was refused for additional information, please submit the requested information so that we can continue to process your application.

Although in-person visa appointments are cancelled, visa application fees are valid for one year from the date of payment and applicants will be able to reschedule once visa services resume.

If you have a uniquely urgent need to travel to the United States immediately, you may apply for an emergency visa interview appointment, please visit our website at http://www.ramljg.com.cn/kr/kr-niv-expeditedappointment.asp. Please note that our ability to process visas requiring an in-person interview will be extremely limited. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
